The question isn't "can an LLM write a concept" — it's "can it combine primitives in a way that clears originality and survives a pitch."
mechremix is a concept-intelligence system for mobile games. You pick mechanic primitives, source games, or themes; it composes new concepts, scores them, gates them through an originality check, and hands back a pitch-ready brief — hero mockup, ad hooks, failure model, and all.
The output is a Zod-strict JSON object, not a wall of prose. Every stage is inspectable — retrieval, evaluator scores, originality rationale — and every concept has a version history so you can refine without losing the provenance.
Producers, creative directors, and solo devs who need to generate and triage mobile concepts at volume — and want the math on build complexity, clone risk, and ad testability before they commit a team to a prototype. It's a sharpening tool for people with taste, not a replacement for it.
mechremix won't tell you a reskin is novel. The originality gate exists because the default failure mode of generative pipelines is glossy clones of existing hits — mechremix rejects those before they hit the library. It also won't execute playable code; the output is design + evaluation, not builds.
